Bless the Lord<\/span>, O my soul! O Lord<\/span> my God, You are very great: <\/span>You are clothed with honor and majesty…O Lord<\/span>, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. <\/span>The earth is full of Your possessions…May the glory of the Lord<\/span> endure forever; May the Lord<\/span> rejoice in His works…I will sing to the Lord<\/span> as long as I live;
\nI will sing praise to my God while I have my being.<\/span> – Psalm 104:1, 24, 31, 33<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday morning, in the pre-dawn quietness, I was struck by the thought of the world in worship. Here in this suburb of Richmond, Virginia, my Bible open, and my journal page full of how God had spoken to my heart. Then it came to me how this was happening in some form or other in other homes in Richmond…across the state of Virginia…and then across every time zone around the globe.<\/p>\n

Friends came to mind who live and work and worship in Morocco, in in the United Kingdom, in Egypt…Jordan, Pakistan, India, China…and countries in between. All across the world, there are people who worship God\u00a0moved by\u00a0His Spirit and through the Truth of His Word.<\/p>\n

The glorious thought then came to me of all those who have come to know Him, truly know Him, across history. These dear saints populating Heaven right now, where their faith has become sight. That took me to thinking about today again, as the Day of Salvation. God tells us in His Word to choose this day whom we will serve. “As for me and my house,\u00a0we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15<\/a>) I am\u00a0enthralled at the\u00a0wonder of people, all around the world, drawn by God Himself, coming into\u00a0His Kingdom on this very day. Today.<\/p>\n

Centuries ago,\u00a0John the Baptist announced the arrival of the Messiah to those gathered that day, when he\u00a0 said, \u201cBehold! The Lamb of God<\/em> who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29<\/a>) As the morning sun brightened my window yesterday morning, I thought of all those in the generations ahead who will receive that same Messiah into their hearts.\u00a0 Glory!<\/p>\n

Another John, one of Jesus’ apostles, recorded his vision of the end times and the Kingdom of Heaven.\u00a0 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb<\/em>, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>and crying out with a loud voice, saying, \u201cSalvation belongs<\/i> to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb<\/em>!\u201d<\/span> – (Revelation 7:9-10<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n

A\u00a0multitude from every language, people, tribe and nation knowing and worshipping God, through\u00a0the Lord Jesus Christ. How Great Is Our God<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Chris Tomlin performed the World Edition of this song in the 2012 Passion Conference.<\/a> It was a glimpse of Heaven for me to see all those worshippers singing in their various heart languages. English, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi, Afrikaans, Russian,\u00a0Zulu,\u00a0and Indonesian. Over the years, I have had the sweet opportunity of worshipping\u00a0in other languages, alongside\u00a0other Christ-followers\u00a0(in Spanish, French, Arabic, and Swahili).<\/p>\n

In Heaven…a multitude of\u00a0peoples<\/em> from all languages. Raising their worship\u00a0to God, together. Such love…all of us for Him and for\u00a0each other, because of God who loved us first and forever.<\/p>\n
