I&#8217;m sure you can name people in your life who not only speak wisdom to you but who also live wisely.<\/p>\n<p><em>Worldly wisdom<\/em> is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefreedictionary.com\/worldly+wisdom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">defined<\/a> as &#8220;experienced in the ways of the world; understanding of the affairs of the world&#8221;. Wordly wisdom is a different take on that with God as the source of wisdom. &#8220;Wordly&#8221; being a play on words, meaning the wisdom that comes from the Word of God (both the Bible and the <a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/john\/1-1.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">person of Jesus Christ<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghumblehearts.com\/en\/practising-wisdom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Godly vs. Worldly Wisdom <\/em>&#8211; Jennifer Sum<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Both worldly and wordly wisdom can be extremely useful in maneuvering through life&#8230;no matter your religious beliefs. However, you will have to wrestle with the experience of conflicting &#8220;wisdoms&#8221;&#8230;when you have to choose which path seems most true; most appropriate. The popular &#8220;your truth&#8221;\/&#8221;my truth&#8221; philosophy of today rarely works in facing conflict of reason. As do I love several others (some linked below). They help me have a sense of both popular thinking and the wisdom of contemporaries.<\/p>\n<p>What if Srini could interview Jesus of Nazareth? That would be something to listen to. We have the Scriptures to know what Jesus said or would say about anything we might encounter today (weighing out the whole of what is written in the Bible).<\/p>\n<p>If Rao&#8217;s list of what he&#8217;s learned from podcast guests included Jesus, the following quotes might be considered wisdom. All from Jesus:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0&#8220;Let your &#8216;yes&#8217; be &#8216;yes&#8217;, and your &#8216;No,&#8217; &#8216;No&#8217;.&#8221; &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/matthew\/5-37.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew 5:37<\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<span style=\"font-family: georgia,arial, sans-serif;\">Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?<\/span> &#8230;<span style=\"font-family: georgia,arial, sans-serif;\">So don&#8217;t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.
